Toddler Program

Our Toddler Program provides an engaging, structured environment where young children can explore, play, and practice new skills with caring guidance. Toddlers are busy learners, so we focus on movement, language, creativity, and early social skills through play‑based experiences that feel fun and safe.

Every toddler has their own personality, pace, and interests. Our teachers take time to understand each child—what comforts them, what excites them, and how they like to explore—so activities can be adapted to meet their needs while supporting healthy routines and boundaries.

What we focus on

A day in our Program

Exploration & Play
Toddlers learn by touching, trying, and testing the world around them. We provide open‑ended play opportunities—from blocks and pretend play to simple puzzles and sensory bins—that encourage curiosity and discovery.

Language & Communication
Daily conversations, stories, songs, and simple group activities help toddlers expand their vocabulary and begin expressing thoughts and feelings. Teachers model clear language, listen closely, and gently guide children as they try new words.

Movement & Coordination
Active play is built into the day with opportunities for climbing, dancing, running, and fine‑motor tasks like stacking, pouring, and drawing. These experiences build strength, coordination, and confidence in their growing bodies.

Independence & Self‑Help Skills
We support toddlers as they practice small acts of independence, such as washing hands, helping tidy up, trying to feed themselves, and participating in simple routines. These moments help them feel capable and proud of their progress.

Social Skills & Emotional Growth
Through group play, turn‑taking, and teacher‑guided problem solving, toddlers learn how to share, wait, use gentle hands, and begin to recognize emotions in themselves and others. We coach them through conflicts and celebrate kind choices.

Welcoming Arrival & Warm Start
Each morning begins with a friendly greeting and time to settle into the classroom. Children are invited into familiar activities, helping them feel comfortable and ready for the day ahead.

Circle Time & Group Activities
Short, age‑appropriate group times include songs, stories, simple games, and talking about the day. These moments support attention, listening, and a sense of belonging in the group.

Learning Through Centers & Play
Toddlers rotate through play areas such as blocks, pretend play, art, sensory tables, and reading corners. Teachers join their play, extend their ideas, and introduce gentle learning challenges within activities they already enjoy.

Meals, Routines & Rest Time
Snacks, meals, toileting, and rest are woven into a predictable schedule. We use these routines to practice self‑help skills, calm transitions, and quiet moments that help toddlers recharge.

Outdoor Play & Movement Activities
Daily outdoor time and indoor movement games give toddlers space to run, climb, explore nature, and enjoy fresh air. These experiences support physical health, motor development, and joyful energy release.
