Infant Program (6 weeks–18 months)

Our Infant Program provides a calm, nurturing environment where babies can begin their learning journey feeling safe, loved, and cared for. We focus on secure attachment, gentle routines, and rich sensory experiences so each child can grow at their own pace while building a strong foundation for future development.

Every infant is unique, and our teachers take time to learn each child’s rhythms, preferences, and personality. We partner closely with families to keep feeding, napping, and comfort routines consistent between home and childcare.

What we focus on

A day in our Program

Secure Attachment
Infants are cared for by consistent, responsive caregivers who build trust through eye contact, gentle touch, soothing voices, and predictable routines. This secure connection helps babies feel safe and supported throughout the day.

Language Exposure
From the very beginning, babies are surrounded by language—soft narration, songs, stories, and early communication cues. Teachers talk, sing, and respond to coos and babbles to encourage early communication and connection.

Sensory Exploration
Infants explore their world through carefully chosen sensory experiences, including different textures, gentle sounds, safe visual contrasts, and age‑appropriate toys. These experiences support brain development and early curiosity.

Tummy Time & Movement
Daily opportunities for tummy time, reaching, grasping, rolling, and supported sitting help build motor skills and physical strength. Activities are always gentle and matched to each baby’s developmental stage.

Developmental Milestones
We observe each child’s growth in areas such as social engagement, motor skills, early communication, and self‑regulation. Progress is celebrated, and observations are shared with families so everyone stays connected to each baby’s journey.

Warm Arrival & Connection
Each day begins with a warm welcome and gentle caregiver connection. Babies are greeted by name, offered comfort, and eased into the day with calm, predictable routines that help them feel secure.

Personalized Care Routines
Feeding, diapering, and napping follow individualized schedules shared by families. We respect each baby’s rhythms, making sure care routines are both consistent and responsive to the child’s needs.

Play, Tummy Time & Quiet Floor Time
Babies enjoy tummy time, quiet floor play, and simple movement activities that support strength, coordination, and exploration. These moments are unhurried and tailored to each child’s stage of development.

Stories, Songs & Sensory Experiences
Gentle story time, music, and sensory activities—such as safe textures, soft sounds, and visual stimuli—are woven throughout the day to support early learning, comfort, and curiosity.

Outdoor & Calm Transitions
When appropriate, infants go on stroller walks or spend brief time outdoors for fresh air and natural sights. Transitions between activities are kept calm and comforting so babies move through their day with ease rather than stress.
